Case Documents

How to Tell if your Eggs are Part of the Egg Recall?

The egg recall includes eggs that were packed in varying sizes - 6, 12, and 18-egg cartons.   Plant identification codes can be found stamped on the end of the egg carton. The plant number is a 4-digit number preceded by the letter “P” and followed by a three-digit number (the Julian date).  Both the plant number and Julian date must match. If the Julian date does not match the affected plant number, then your eggs are not currently involved in the recall.
