Elizabeth represents individuals who have been injured as a result of defective drug or faulty medical devices. Elizabeth's hands-on approach to the law, backed by her personal attention to detail, have allowed her to excel in complex litigation. Elizabeth began her career with Zimmerman Reed as a research assistant for Bucky Zimmerman while he was writing a mass tort manual published by Thompson/West, "Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Litigation." During this time, she gained valuable insight about the workings of mass tort and Multi-District Litigation. This ultimately prepared her for the role of attorney for the plaintiffs' Lead Counsel Committee in both Guidant MDL 1708 and Medtronic MDL 1726. Elizabeth worked closely with the leadership in both cases and eventually took a lead role in the settlement administration of the Guidant MDL.
Elizabeth is a 2004 graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law. During law school she worked on the health law journal (Health Matrix) and was an active member of several organizations. She received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award: Torts and the Case School of Law Leadership Award. Elizabeth is admitted to the state courts of Minnesota and U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
