Since joining Zimmerman Reed, Carolyn Anderson has successfully represented consumers in tobacco litigation, investors with claims of securities fraud, and communities injured by environmental torts. She has served in a leadership role in obtaining numerous significant awards in both individual actions and multi-state class actions. Recently, Carolyn Anderson was appointed Class Counsel in both the Minnesota Corn Processors shareholder action involving the ADM merger and the Airport Noise class action on behalf of approximately 6,000 homeowners living near the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport. She also currently serves as Lead Counsel for a nationwide class in a securities case brought against Boston Scientific, representing the Public Employees Retirement System of the State of Mississippi. Carolyn focuses most of her practice working with state Attorneys General, representing state pension funds or other institutional investors.
In addition to her involvement in complex litigation, Carolyn Anderson has extensive experience in conducting jury research working with law firms and the U.S. federal courts. She is a member of ZR’s Managing Partner Committee and frequent Legal Education faculty member in the area of complex litigation, legal ethics, and other topics.
