Minot Train Derailment

  • Earlier this year, in a court case brought on behalf of injured residents, a Federal judge in Bismarck, North Dakota ruled that when Congress passed a law called the Federal Railroad Safety Act (FRSA), it intended for injured victims of train derailments to be barred from receiving compensation for their injuries. The attorneys for the injured residents have appealed that decision. In a Court filing, the injured residents found themselves joined by important allies - - members of Congress. Airport Noise

  • Judge Stephen C. Aldrich granted class certification to thousands of homeowners owning more than 3,500 homes in Minneapolis and Richfield, enabling them to pursue their claims in an efficient and equitable manner – as a class action. Iindividuals owning homes around the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport, who are eligible to become members of the class, have been mailed a notice to either participate or not participate in the case going forward.
