Pemstar Securities Litigation
On August 20, 2002, Zimmerman Reed filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of all persons who purchased Pemstar, Inc. (Nasdaq: PMTR) securities during the period of June 8, 2001 through May 3, 2002. The action was filed in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, alleging Pemstar and certain executive officers issued a Registration Statement and Prospectus that were materially false and misleading. The eventual public disclosure of the company's true financial circumstances prompted the price of Pemstar's stock to plunge by 60%, thereby damaging investors.
On May 27, 2005, District Court Judge Donovan W. Frank granted final approval of the proposed $12 million Settlement.
