Our roots make all the difference.
Bucky Zimmerman and Barry Reed opened the doors of Zimmerman Reed in 1983, with the hope of building a different kind of law firm where talented lawyers could work on meaningful cases. A firm with fewer barriers and no mahogany.
ZR quickly became involved in high profile civil rights cases. Its practice soon expanded to representation of clients in front page litigation involving the tobacco industry, mortgage fraud, and defective medical devices.
Barry retired in 2008 and we will always proudly bear the imprint of Barry’s passion and unique legal skills. Barry and his wife, Jane, are enjoying a well-deserved retirement in Arizona – with occasional drop-ins to the firm’s Arizona office.
Bucky continues his practice today and holds several leadership positions in significant and demanding cases nationwide involving medical devices, sports law, and the financial industry. Click here to learn more.
