Heidi joined the firm’s Minneapolis office in 2010 as a paralegal intern and has moved her way through the ranks to paralegal, assisting the attorneys in cases involving Wage & Hour and Consumer Protection. Maintaining client contact and case files fill a large part of Heidi’s day-to-day activities, and her energy and dedication are known by all who encounter her.

Heidi is often the lead paralegal working on the Security Breach cases, assisting attorneys as they represent banks and other financial institutions affected by the data security breaches. She also supports the attorneys with client contact, case updates, and file oversight for other consumer protection matters. Heidi played a significant role in the legal team that successfully challenged FedEx’s independent contractor model, assisting attorneys as they represented 141 Illinois drivers in a lawsuit brought under federal and Illinois wage and hour laws. Her optimism and go-getter attitude make her a valuable addition to the firm and deserving recipient of the ZR Star award. She is trusted by the senior partners of the firm in handling tasks as they arise, and is more than willing to lend a hand to anyone in the office who needs assistance.

Heidi received her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from North Hennepin Community College in December 2011, and a Bachelor’s Degree at Metro State with a focus in legal studies in 2014. Away from ZR, Heidi spends any free moments with her family, and unwinds from her busy work week by being active, attending sporting events, and traveling.
