Mushtaq Galbayte joined Zimmerman Reed in 2026 and works in the firm’s Minneapolis office. For many clients, she is the first person they speak with, so she understands just how much that first conversation matters. Mushtaq listens carefully to each person’s story, gathering the details that help our attorneys and paralegals evaluate their potential claim, making sure each client feels heard.
Prior to joining ZR, she worked as a legal assistant at a Minneapolis law firm, where she supported attorneys with documentation, workflow coordination, and the management of estate and trust portfolios.
Mushtaq received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Communications, from the University of Minnesota, graduating Summa Cum Laude in December 2024. She is fluent in English, Somali, Spanish, and Arabic.
