According to June, becoming a successful rainmaker at a plaintiff’s firm requires:

• A mix of art and science. Learning how to pick the best cases and how to build them.
• Collaboration.  Because doing great work is not enough. You must also be great to work with.
• Mentoring. Involving associates in case selection from the start to help build the next generation of rainmakers.
