Leslie joined Zimmerman Reed-Minneapolis as a paralegal in 2011. She carries over 15 years of paralegal experience after spending more than 11 years helping clients while working at another Twin Cities law firm. Leslie works directly with clients and assists attorneys in our Antitrust, Sports Law, and Employee Rights and Overtime practice areas.
A graduate of Augsburg College, Leslie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and uses her skills from her studies to help NHL players suffering from traumatic brain injuries, Fed Ex drivers challenging FedEx’s independent contractor model, and various other consumers with legal claims. She also worked on the team in the H&R Block case where consumers experienced a tax return processing delay due to form 8863 glitch. In addition to her usual paralegal duties of filing and case preparation, Leslie is also a client-communication specialist, an extra set of hands for unexpected projects, and all-around legal rock star.
When her day at ZR is over this busy mother enjoys spending time with her husband and kids attending school activities and sporting events. Of course, when she can, she knows how to cherish those few and far in-between quiet moments—she is an avid book reader and enjoys catching up on her favorite TV shows.
