Rachel safeguards consumers and small businesses from practices that are improper, unfair, or contrary to reasonable expectations. Through strategic pleading, aggressive motion practice, efficient discovery review and collection, collaborative settlement efforts, and persuasive trial advocacy, Rachel does what is necessary to help her clients.

Rachel is currently litigating a variety of consumer protection and data privacy cases, including against Meta Platforms, Inc. for failing to control or remove copyright infringement on its sites, BMW of North America for damages related to unresolved safety defects, several healthcare providers and retailers for their use of website tracking technologies, and several healthcare companies for data breaches.  Rachel has also worked on many other data breach cases, including the T-Mobile data breach, and the Flagstar data breach, in which federal district courts appointed Rache to the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committees to oversee the litigation and advocate on behalf of tens of millions of breach victims.  Most recently, Rachel has been litigating a series of cases against large defendant companies for greenwashing claims, including companies making representations related to impacts on the environment and the health and safety of consumers.

Rachel graduated from University of North Dakota Law School, where she served as a member of the North Dakota Law Review and the American Inns of the Court. While attending law school, Rachel served as a Chambers Legal External Clerk in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court where she gained hands-on experience in the courtroom, conducted extensive legal research, and assisted in preparing judicial opinions.

Rachel is admitted to the state courts of Minnesota and North Dakota, the U.S. District Courts for the District of Minnesota, the Eastern District of Michigan, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
